What do you do when you move to a new company and they don’t offer the same culture activities that you’re accustomed to? You work your butt off to develop, organize and create them!
Bring Your Kids To Work Day (BYKTWD), a national tradition that started in 1993, takes place on the last Thursday of April each year. I quickly realized that Upshot did not offer anything around BYKTWD. I went one year without bringing my children to the office, but I decided that one year was enough. In 2018, I helped organize and host the agency’s first ever “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” event on April 26. It was a huge success, with over 35 kids in attendance. We created custom swag bags, personalized ID badges and fun activities for all ages. Be sure to watch the videos below…
