 When Walmart came to us seeking new in-store dining options, including creating a brand new café concept, I was excited. They tasked us with developing an inviting restaurant that made it quick and easy to stop in for a post-trip affordable snack.

When Walmart came to us seeking new in-store dining options, including creating a brand new café concept, I was excited. They tasked us with developing an inviting restaurant that made it quick and easy to stop in for a post-trip affordable snack.

Our initial exploration included 4 different concepts and restaurant names. When Counter 62 was selected, we dove deeper, recommending technology integration to provide a comprehensive and intuitive experience that allowed shoppers to order their meal from the check out lane. We created a bold and modern space that adapted the Walmart brand for the millennial mom. At “Counter 62”, shoppers would save money and eat better – building on value promised since Walmart’s founding in 1962.
